Geumgang Sect
Carved into the northern mountainside above Cheolmun — Buksan Province
Geumgang's craft is the body, tempered like the iron that comes out of its mountains. Its cultivators are warriors, and they do not pretend otherwise: conditioning, weapons work, and the hard internal disciplines that turn endurance into power.
The sect's combat philosophy is written into its name. A diamond does not maneuver; it does not need to. Geumgang teaches its disciples to be the fixed point in any fight — the thing that does not move, does not break, and ends what others start.
The compound is carved directly into the northern mountainside above Cheolmun, where the cold and the altitude make the journey miserable by design. Power earned in comfort, the sect believes, is power that fails you when it matters. Disciples arrive on foot or not at all.
Geumgang's standing is simple and enormous: when the realm's borders hold, it is usually because Geumgang is standing on them. The garrison towns of the north pay the sect a respect they extend to almost no one else.
