Wolbit Sect

Wolbit's craft is the mind. Its halls train scholars, strategists, archivists, and the closest thing the cultivation world has to diplomats — readers of texts, of situations, and of people. The empire's best minds have almost always come from Wolbit, and the court at Hanseong has learned to listen when the sect speaks quietly.

In combat, Wolbit teaches that the fight is decided before it begins. Position, information, and timing are its weapons; a Wolbit cultivator who has drawn a blade considers the situation already half-failed. Those who have pressed the point anyway rarely recommend the experience.

Their meditation towers rise above the cloud line in the central highlands, close enough to the capital to advise it and far enough to see it clearly. The climb is long by design — the sect believes a question worth asking survives the walk.

Wolbit's standing rests on trust accumulated over centuries of counsel. It holds few grudges and fewer debts, arbitrates disputes between the other pillars, and keeps records that some houses would prefer did not exist.
